Oregon Place Guest House is situated in the middle of the Cultural Heartland of South Africa in Middelburg, Mpumalanga. Only an hour and a half drive from Johannesburg and OR Tambo International Airport makes Oregon Place a perfect overnight stop en route to the Kruger National Park, Mozambique, Swaziland, and the magnificent Mpumalanga scenic route. Middelburg is also situated in the mining and manufacturing hub of Mpumalanga, thus the perfect place to be based when on a business trip to the area.
The stately house (Oregon Place) was built in the early 1920`s. In 1997 we restored the building to its original glory and transformed it into a beautiful Guest House for all visitors to Mpumalanga to enjoy. Attention was paid to the smallest detail to ensure everything is just perfect for visiting guests. Today Oregon Place offers the corporate, local and international guest all the comforts of a top class Bed and Breakfast. The world class service compliments the relaxed, friendly and professional environment, ensuring that each guest has a memorable stay. Guests can enjoy a superb English breakfast served in our spacious dining area. Oregon Place is close to the CBD, sporting venues and tourism attractions, making it ideal for corporate and leisure guests. Activities include bird watching, walking and golf, game drives, elephant back safaris, micro light flights, fishing, quad biking, white water tubing, bridge swinging and abseiling.
